More rain is likely in the Birmingham area Thursday, but drier days should be here by this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation Thursday, with a high near 73 and a low around 50.
Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 57 and a low around 45.
The forecast for Saturday includes a little drizzle, but no heavy rain. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 59 and a low around 39.
