HUNTSVILLE, AL. — Unless otherwise noted, the following incidents were reported to Huntsville police Wednesday and Thursday. In items with incomplete addresses, police withheld the information:
North precinct
Academy Drive: An apartment was burglarized between 7:45 and 9:12 p.m. Wednesday. A Wii game system, a surround sound audio system and a 42-inch flat-screen TV were stolen.
Blue Bird Road: A 35-year-old man was assaulted at a residence in the 1900 block about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Jordan Lane: A Honda air compressor was stolen from a residence in the 2200 block about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Jordan Lane: A 65-year-old woman reported the theft and forgery of two checks from a business in the 3700 block. The checks were forged and cashed between 12:01 a.m. Nov. 20 and midnight Nov. 21 for a total of $5,500.
Lee High Drive: A home in the 2000 block was burglarized between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday. A Sanyo DVD player, a Phillips DVD player, 50 DVDs and an iPod were stolen.
Memorial Parkway: An undetermined number of personal checks were stolen from a residence in the 3500 block about 1 p.m. Nov. 18. The theft was not reported to police until Wednesday.
Pulaski Pike: One person is facing drug charges after officers found a bag of marijuana during a traffic stop at the intersection of Moss Drive at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday.
Sparkman Drive: A 24-year-old woman reported the theft of three Social Security cards, a driver’s license, an Alabama food stamp card and a debit card while she was in a supermarket in the 2200 block between 8 and 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Sparkman Drive: A vehicle parked in a parking lot was burglarized between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday. A Pioneer CD player and an assortment of CDs were stolen.
Torrance Drive: A home in the 4400 block was burglarized about 8 p.m. Wednesday. A 42-inch LCD TV, a Wii game system and a laptop computer were stolen.
South precinct
Brasewood Drive: An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block between 12:01 and 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Police did not make the report public until Thursday.
Holmes Avenue: A vehicle parked at a residence was broken into between 5:35 and 5:42 p.m. Tuesday. A gym bag and its contents were stolen. Police recovered the stolen merchandise a short time later. It was not disclosed if a suspect was apprehended.
Memorial Parkway: A 49-year-old woman reported the theft of her wallet, $13 in cash, a BP credit card, a MasterCard card, a Sam’s Club card and an Alabama driver’s license was stolen while she shopped at a department store in the 11600 block at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday. Officers recovered her stolen property and it was returned to her.
Memorial Parkway: $150 in cash was stolen from a supermarket between 8 a.m. Oct. 7 and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorial Parkway: A vehicle parked in a parking lot was burglarized between 4 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. A large tool box and a trailer hitch ball were stolen.
West precinct
McVay Street: A home in the 4100 block was burglarized between noon and 2 p.m. Wednesday. A cell phone, digital camera, gold necklace and 10 DVD movies were stolen.
McVay Street: A .25 caliber pistol was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 20 and 1:30 a.m. Nov. 21. The theft was not reported until Thursday.
Sparkman Drive: A home was burglarized between 4 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. A turkey was the only thing reported stolen.
University Drive: Two Pioneer turntables and cases valued at $1,400 and a Stanton audio mixer valued at $350 were stolen from a restaurant between 5 p.m. Aug. 25 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
