A sunny, clear and mild weekend is ahead for the Birmingham area, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Today and Saturday should be sunny, with highs near 72.
Tonight’s low near 43; on Saturday night, 48.
Sunday should be sunny with a high near 77. Lows overnight will dip to 51.
Rain returns to the forecast on Monday and Tuesday. There’s a 50 percent chance on Monday, 80 percent likelihood Monday night and 50 percent on Tuesday.
Skies should clear for Veterans Day celebrations on Wednesday, including the Birmingham Veterans Day parade.
