Author: JASPER, Alabama — A 26-year-old man was shot to death and another man injured in an early morning shooting today in Jasper, according to Walker County Coroner J.C. Poe.
Gregory Johnson was driven to Walker Baptist Medical Center after being shot multiple times and died, Poe said.
The other victim was flown to UAB Hospital, Poe said. His name and condition were not known.
The shooting happened about 4 a.m., but Poe said he did not know the exact location of the incident or whether anyone was arrested.
