ABBEVILLE, Alabama — Agents with the U.S. Marshals Service say they captured an Abbeville man wanted on a murder charge.
Henry County Sheriff William Maddox says investigators charged 46-year-old Carl Bernard Kennedy in the shooting death his half-brother, 31-year-old Clarence “Boo” Williams. Agents say they also arrested Kennedy’s wife, Lestine Kennedy, on a hindering prosecution charge.
Maddox says Carl Kennedy is charged with using a shotgun to shoot Williams in the face at close range.
Maddox says the 2 were arrested in Homestead, Fla., and are being held at the Miami-Dade County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Henry County.
