Monday, expect highs in the mid-90s and overnight lows in the low to mid-70s. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies should accompany rain chances of 20 to 30 percent, with any precipitation likely after noon. The heat index was expected to be around 103.
Midweek, expect the current trend of warm weather to continue. High temperatures should continue to range in the mid-90s, with overnight lows in the low 70s. Cloud coverage was expected to be minimal, with the chance of afternoon showers raising rain probabilities to 20 percent.
Come Friday, conditions were expected to cool slightly, with highs in the low 90s. Mostly sunny skies were forecast, with the chance of rain at 30 percent.
Hurricane watch: For the north Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center in Miami did not expect any tropical formations through Tuesday.
