BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 90s are in the forecast for Birmingham over the next 48 hours, according to the National Weather Service.

Early this evening, it was mostly clear at 85 degrees with rain chances of around 20 percent and winds east at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The overnight low is expected to be about 70.

For Monday, the forecast is a high of 91, mostly sunny with a 10 percent chance of rain. A stray thunderstorm is possible through the evening, which will be mostly clear.

Tuesday’s forecast has a high of 93, mostly sunny and a 10 percent chance of rain.
