BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Authorities are on the scene of a fatal shooting in Ensley.

Neighbors reported hearing two shots about 2 p.m.

The shooting happened inside the home at 4750 Avenue R.

Relatives of the victim said the 21-year-old man from Marion was in town visiting family. He was across the street spending time with a woman when a gunman burst inside and opened fire.

Police have roped off the area and detectives are on the scene.

Witnesses said the guman was wearing all black and fled on foot.
