South Hampton Elementary School in Pratt City will reopen Tuesday after being closed because of a power outage from last week’s tornado.

Students returned to all other Birmingham city schools Monday.

Jefferson County schools announced earlier Monday they would reopen Tuesday at 9 a.m. Bus routes will run one hour later than normal. All employees should report to work at the regular time.

Walker County schools will remain closed until at least Wednesday, according to Superintendent Jason Adkins.
