GADSDEN, Alabama — Two lanes of a city street were closed for more than four hours Monday afternoon when a truck driver had to brake abruptly for a traffic light and spilled part of his truck load of chicken parts, the Gadsden Times reported.
American Proteins of Hanceville, which has had similar accidents in the city, sent a crew to clean the spill, Etowah County officials said. Workers vacuumed the spilled chicken, then sprayed a sanitizer, spread sand and re-vacuumed, according to the newspaper.
