Robert Bentley and the Alabama Forestry Commission, burning is still illegal in the city of Mobile and is only allowed under certain circumstances in the Mobile Police Jurisdiction, according to a Mobile Fire-Rescue, release.
The burn ban in Mobile is a permanent law that was enacted in 1989.
