COLUMBIANA, Alabama A Columbiana man was killed today while working on trees at a residence, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.
Alfred Donald Horton died from injuries after becoming pinned between two trees at a home on Shelby County 77 in the Kingdom Community, the sheriff’s office said.
911 received a call at about 11:08 a.m. of an injured person and when deputies arrived they found Horton deceased, the sheriff’s office said.
Horton’s death is believed to have been an accident, the sheriff’s office said.
