Leeds Police Chief Byron Jackson said two other people were injured: 22-year-old Regina Dozier of Leeds, who was shot in the foot; and 25-year-old Alvin Martin of Birmingham, who was shot in the stomach. Dozier and Martin were transported to UAB Hospital where they were treated and released, Jackson said.
The shooting occurred during an altercation and it is under investigation, Jackson said.
