Central Alabama is in for another unseasonably cold night again tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
The low tonight in the Birmingham area will be around 42, but in northeastern parts of central Alabama, including St. Clair and Talladega counties, the lows could get down to the mid-30s.
A frost advisory is in effect for several counties from 3 to 8 a.m. Thursday.
Thursday will be sunny in the Birmingham area, with a high near 74. The overnight low, however, will be down around 45.
Temperatures in the metro area will remain largely the same Friday, but on Saturday the high will be near 80 with a low around 59.
