MONROEVILLE, Ala. — A Monroe County woman pedestrian was killed late Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident, Alabama State Troopers said.
The woman’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Spokesman Trooper Greg Eubanks said the woman was struck about 10 p.m. while walking along Monroe County 42 about 20 miles northeast of Monroeville, and the driver left the scene.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday night.
