HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The Huntsville school board has released its schedule for Thursday and Friday’s public interviews of seven superintendent candidates vying to replace Dr. Ann Roy Moore.
The interviews begin at 8 a.m. Thursday with Dr. Eric King, superintendent of Muncie Community Schools in Muncie, Ind., and ending at 5:30 p.m. Friday with Gen. Frank Libutti, a Huntsville resident and chief operating officer of Global Solutions 3D.
The entire schedule is:
Thursday
8 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Dr. Eric King, superintendent of Muncie Community Schools in Muncie, Ind.
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Dr. Barry Carroll, superintendent of Limestone County Schools
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Beth Wright, superintendent of Florence County School District 3 in Lake City, S.C.
Friday
8 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Brett Springston, superintendent of the Brownsville Independent School District in Brownsville, Texas
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Dr. Daniel Brigman, superintendent of the Macon County School System in Franklin, N.C.
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Dr. Casey Wardynski, chief financial officer of the Aurora (Colo.) school system
3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Gen. Frank Libutti, chief operating officer of Global Solutions 3D
5:45 p.m. – Deliberations and announcement of three final candidates
The school board will also hold its regular work session, along with a special session, at 5: 30 p.m. Thursday evening. The meeting and all interviews will be held in the board meeting room at the Annie C. Merts Center, 200 White St.
