OLGA HOOSER GILLILAND FRANKLIN age 83, of Summerfield, departed this life on May 16, 2011. Olga was born September 29, 1927, in Birmingham, AL, to David and Henrietta Hooser. She was a 1945 graduate of Woodlawn High School and attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and loved music, acting and singing in her church choir. Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and lifelong friend who was actively involved in church and community service organizations ranging from Murrysville, PA to Jacksonville, FL to Greensboro/High Point, NC. But, it was her strong faith, love and daily devotion to her Lord Jesus Christ for which she will be remembered most by those who really knew her. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro at 2500 Summit Ave. Greensboro, NC 27405 or to Focus on the Family Colorado Springs, CO 80995.
