MOBILE, Alabama — Mobile police are investigating a 3-vehicle accident this afternoon that involved a Mobile police officer, officials said.
A Mobile officer was westbound on Old Pascagoula Road when he collided with a truck, said police spokesman Officer Christopher Levy. The truck then collided with a GMC Yukon, Levy said.
Five people were taken to area hospitals. One of the people who was injured was transported by LifeFlight air ambulance, Levy said.
