MOBILE, Alabama — Mobile police are searching for 2 men they say shot a 15-year-old this morning on Lapine Drive in northwestern Mobile, Officer Christopher Levy, police spokesman, said.
The shooting —reported at 10:57 a.m. — is believed to be the result of an ongoing dispute, Levy said. Police did not say what the dispute was about.
Levy said that when the teenager came upon the men, one took out a handgun and shot him in the back.
The teenager was taken to the University of South Alabama with non life-threatening wound, he said.
