HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — A 19-year-old man was arrested overnight Sunday on manslaughter charges after another man was fatally shot, police said.
The man was shot while sitting in a vehicle in the 2700 block of Sparkman Drive Sunday night and police originally believed it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said Huntsville police Sgt. Mark Roberts.
After further investigation, police learned others were in the car at the time of the shooting and arrested Adrian Dalmore McDonald on manslaughter charges early this morning, Roberts said. The shooting was not a targeted attack against the victim, he said.
