MOBILE, Ala. — Police are investigating four serial robberies that have happened on Montlimar, Berwyn and Knollwood Drives in about one week, according to spokeswoman Officer Kara Rose.

The two robbers, whom police believe are working together and armed with at least one handgun, struck once last weekend on Knollwood Drive and then thrice this weekend on Berwyn, Montlimar and Knollwood Drives, according to the spokeswoman. The offenders have been approaching people in parking lots and demanding victims’ belongings.

They are taking things like cell phones and wallets from people, Rose said.

The robbers are believed to be male, dark complected, heavy set, between the ages of 20 and 25, and standing between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall, Rose said.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named, Rose said.

No other details are available at this time.
