HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — A man was shot in the chest late Wednesday, but police said the gunshot wound wasn’t life-threatening.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Charles Moore was walking in the 4000 block of Torrance Drive when a man walked up to him and pulled out a pistol, police said. Moore was shot in the chest and transported to Huntsville Hospital by HEMSI.
Moore’s injuries required immediate surgery, but police said they were not considered life-threatening. No arrests have been made and no additional information was immediately available.
