TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — Almost a week after the city of Tuscaloosa was decimated by a mile-wide tornado, a rainbow appeared in the sky, offering a glimmer of hope.
This photo was taken Tuesday by Mike Harrison, a teacher and coach from Shelby County High School, who was in the Tuscaloosa area offering assistance with the youth group of the Community Baptist Church of Maylene. From the group’s perspective near the Church of No Walls along Hargrove Road, the rainbow appeared to be behind University Mall.
