Author: MOBILE, Alabama — A 6 1/2-mile bicycle ride to remember cyclists killed and injured in road accidents will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The Ride of Silence is open to all cyclists and will begin at 6 p.m. at Washington Square. The ride, which will be escorted by Mobile police, will last about an hour at a 10-12 mph pace and will also end at Washington Square.
Organizers said helmets are required, and reflective clothing and lights are recommended.
