MOVICO, Alabama — Tallie P. K. Lang, a resident of Movico, died Tuesday at home. She was 88.

Born April 27, 1923, she was a member of William Chapel for more than 33 years until moving her membership to join her husband at the Holy Church of God Pentecostal in McIntosh, Alabama.

Two husbands, Robert Knight and Mitchell Lang Sr., died before her. She is also preceded in death by 3 daughters, Elizabeth Chapman, Dianne Knight and Juanita Lang; a son and grandson, Edward R. Fox; 3 brothers, Elisha, McCoy and Woodie; and a sister, Lorraine Martin.

Survivors include 5 daughters, Minnie Lewis of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Loretta Foxx of Spanish Fort, Mary Jordan, and Babby Roberts, both of Mount Vernon and Gwendolyn James of Mobile; 4 stepsons and daughters; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Vera Chestang and Juanita Dees, both of Mount Vernon, and Margie Hill of Mobile; a brother, Letroy Pugh of Mount Vernon; and numerous other relatives.
