Author: MOBILE, Alabama — Mobile police Wednesday said that a 13-year-old boy who was found at the bottom of a west Mobile apartment complex swimming pool drowned accidentally.
Spokeswoman Ashley Rains identified the victim as 13-year-old Corey Anthony Blackwell. She said an autopsy on the boy determined the drowning to be accidental.
The teen was found in the pool at Springhill Place Townhouses at Old Shell and Hillcrest roads about 7:15 p.m. Monday, Rains said.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
