TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — Billy Ray White, a 62-year-old east Tuscaloosa man whose lawn held racially offensive signs and a Confederate flag, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly firing a shotgun twice at a neighbor, the Tuscaloosa News reports.
White, who was charged with attempted murder, reportedly terrorized black neighbors and had signs that included the N-word racial epithet and said, “White and proud of it,” according to the Tuscaloosa News report.
