JEFFERSON COUNTY, Alabama — An unidentified man was killed and another man injured in a crash near Concord early this morning, Alabama State Troopers report.
The single-vehicle crash, involving a Daihatsu vehicle, happened at 2:55 a.m. about two miles south of Concord on Toadvine Road, according to a trooper report.
The driver of the car was killed in the wreck, troopers said. He has not been identified.
A passenger in the car, Michael Watkins, 25, of Mobile, was injured and transported to UAB Hospital for treatment, troopers report.
A spokesman for UAB said this afternoon that a Michael Watkins was not being treated at the hospital.
No other details were provided by troopers.
