Author: Some 7,000 fans have filled the Pavilion at the King of Prussia Mall, waiting for the arrival of Selena Gomez. The actor and singing sensation stoped by the mall to support her upcoming film, “Monte Carlo.” From afternoon through early evening, fanlined up to ss the star. Fans began arriving at the mall at 4AM.
One group of girls from Lower Merion had gotten a ride from their mom to the mall. They had been waiting five hours to see her. When a reporter approached the girls burst into screams. One girl had to be pulled out and treated by medics as she waited for Salena to appear.
Selena arrived shortly after 6 PM and took a number of questions that had been submitted by her fans. Many were about her upcoming movie “Monte Carlo” but one also touched on her romance with Justin Bieber.
Selena also sang part of her song. After two more questions she departed out the back door leaving a mall full of adoring fans.
Gomez is on a ten-city press tour to promote her film that opens in theaters July 1. It is the story of young girl (Gomez) who becomes an accidental heiress when, during a summer trip to Paris, a case of mistaken identity has her living like royalty.
