Author: HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – A westbound lane of Governors Drive is closed for a few blocks for much of today for work related to the Governors Drive widening project.
The contractor closed one westbound lane at 9 a.m. today from east of Bassett Street to west of Franklin Street. The lane is scheduled to reopen at 3 p.m.
The lane is closed for workers to install pavement and remove the existing curb on Governors Drive between California and Franklin streets.
