HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — A woman claims someone broke into her apartment overnight Wednesday while she and her child were sleeping, police said.

The woman, who lives in the 100 block of Winchester Road, told police she woke up shortly after 3 a.m. to check on her sleeping baby when she realized several things were missing from her home, officers said.

No one was injured in the burglary, and police are still investigating. No additional details were released.
